Long before skincare became an industry, Ayurvedic scholars and Vaidyas observed plants with extraordinary attention. Their qualities were documented in classical manuscripts and interpreted through systems that helped understand how botanicals interact with the body and skin.

For the founders of ELVA, this tradition revealed something profound: that nature itself carries an intelligence, and Ayurveda provides the knowledge to interpret it.
